Theater needs some work

The show itself was entertaining and so creatively done. My main issues were with sound quality and the theater itself in general. I don’t know if maybe I’ve been spoiled from seeing dozens of Broadway shows in New York and Chicago, but I was pretty shocked at the poor sound quality of this theater. I was seated at row U, orchestra level, and found it hard to make out what some of the performers were saying half the time. I don’t have hearing problems, it was just the show. This issue was worsened by the fact that there were a few stairs next to my section apparently falling apart: every time someone put weight on the stairs, they made a loud squeaking sound. It occurred constantly throughout the show. The theater is clearly dated and could use a facelift. There is peeling on the walls. For the cost of tickets, the experience could surely be improved.
